As the former Policy Director for the Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technologies (CEERT), Maia has four years of experience in directly shaping climate and energy policy in California, as well as an academic background in physics with six years of laboratory and analytical research experience. She combines critical thinking and compassionate advocacy to push towards a cleaner, more equitable energy future. She has authored influential reports, testified before legislative committees and regulatory hearings, and led successful coalitions to advance renewable energy and transmission solutions. Now, Maia utilizes her policy skills, scientific nature, and abundant connections to bring additional capacity to organizations like yours.
